Is it me or are these meets a lot quieter than when we used to do the non Saturday evening meetings? I've been a couple of times but it always seems a bit sparse. How about a weekend breakfast meeting? They seemed to work well?

Will be there; from next year I'm proposing for a last Monday of the month meet as we used to get more regulars on weekdays.
Last Mondays mean we have two bank holidays (May and August) evenings for those who cannot make week days...

I haven't attended the meetings either and am quite tempted to pop along. I have a stupid question: do you have to have PCGB membership to go along, is there a fee?

Hi Paul,
It is a Porsche meets, everyone welcomed! Also from 2010, I have arrange the meet to be every last Monday of the month; so anyone who prefer weekends then this will be your last two Saturdays left.
Last Monday has the advantage of having two bank holidays in a year so those who cannot make it during workdays can come to the May and August (bbq) meet.
There is no fee, etc to attend; please do have a meal at Ace as that is how they keep the place running and offer us the meet venue for free...

Yes, there is a meet this Saturday; it will be the last Saturday Ace meet! From 2010 we will be meeting on the last Monday of the month. If you cannot make weekdays then this would be a good last chance to visit the legendary Ace Cafe; having said that, last Monday was deliberately chosen to include two Bank Holidays (May and August) for those who cannot make it during work days.
