the headlights on my 911 are looking very old and really bring down the look of the car.... is there any product that can bring them back like new!?? please help

....had new glass lenses fitted to my 993 and had the refectors cleaned....looks like new now.....  With the 993 there is a crescent shaped piece of plastic that is attached to the glass lens that discolours over time and gives the whole light a yellowish tinge.

Hi mate, I used Megs 83 and 80 polish and got very similar results. Just takes a little time and effort.

Can be done with the lamps in situ. Its important to mask off the surrounding painted areas carefully with high quality masking tape, right up to the lamps edge this prevents the foam pad burnishing the raised edges of the bodywork. Tape the chrome lamp squirter as well if you so wish. Then just machine polish as you would with painted bodywork. If they are very bad they could be 'wet sanded' with 2000 grit wet-dry paper beforehand, take your pick from meguiars, farecla, or 3m compound. 3M very popular now, my choice also. Iv done a few now, they come up like brand new when they are done.
